Craig Askew has been making art about the sea and the seaside for many years. His style has a simple, likeable immediacy and a freshness that has a wide appeal. His work is shown in galleries predominantly in the South West of England. Based on the border of Somerset and Devon, Craig takes his inspiration from the coastal villages of Devon, Cornwall and Dorset. Each print is based upon a collage made from colours and text lifted from many different magazines. The print run is limited to only 50 and each one is numbered and signed by the artist.
